  • Lisika Unite foundation

  • We aim to build a culture of reading in deep rural schools by establishing hot spot libraries and ensuring that books are freely accessible at a zero cost to children through our One Book, One School Literacy Development Programme. Through this we hope to play our part in decreasing the high rate of illiteracy in rural areas.

  • Reading to Learn South Africa

  • Through rigorous training, we give teachers the tools to use the power of genre-based pedagogy in every subject for every learner at every level. Our┬ámethodology has been developed in response to current urgent needs, particularly of marginalised learners, to rapidly improve reading and writing for educational access and success. These theoretical foundations are integrated in a set of teaching strategies that are optimally practical in diverse classroom settings, and accessible for teachers to acquire and use as part of their ordinary practice in their grade or curriculum area.

  • My people development foundation

  • We deal with students who have lost their parent(s)/guardian and are now orphaned. We give them parental support, emotional support and tools to cope during their school journey so that they do not drop out or resort to negative alternatives. All our programs are geared towards helping the students through school.
