We support the After School sector in South Africa by developing quality practitioners and building sustainable organisations. We offer focused coaching and skills-sharing in a variety of organisational development areas, and provide platforms for networking and collaborations that, in turn, serve children and youth in under-resourced communities.

Through rigorous training, we give teachers the tools to use the power of genre-based pedagogy in every subject for every learner at every level. Our methodology has been developed in response to current urgent needs, particularly of marginalised learners, to rapidly improve reading and writing for educational access and success. These theoretical foundations are integrated in a set of teaching strategies that are optimally practical in diverse classroom settings, and accessible for teachers to acquire and use as part of their ordinary practice in their grade or curriculum area.
Our goal is to ensure that hundreds of thousands of young people become alive to their potential and recognize their ability to lead change in their own lives, their schools and communities. We also aim to ensure that high schools in South Africa become aware that learners working in partnership with adults can do much to strengthen schools through effective social action. Our purpose is to transform the culture of schools to change the trajectory of youth. We work in close association with the Department of Education, building the capacity of high schools, serving economically disadvantaged communities to embed our values-based leadership model.
We focus on mobilising all key stakeholders in the education sector around one common goal, improving our education system, and facilitating collaboration. Our organisation focuses on careers development, leadership development, and arts development.
